Trello is a free and open-source web-based project management application initially made by Fog Creek Software in 2011. Users are able to collaborate with each other over a shared online board.

Initally it was a project management tool used by small companies. In response to this many companies have begun testing the tools of Trello because it has proved to ultimately help with ideas, managing teams, creating tasks and almost any project achievement at hand.

In practice as well as theory, Trello helps expatriates by helping them devise assignments while they're out of the country or traveling home. These assignments can be either work instructions whereby you know what the end result is supposed to look like
