The Toronto Maple Leafs (MapleLeafs) are Canada’s newest team in the National Hockey League and it is likely that they will soon become true hockey royalty.
The Maple Leafs are one of the league's larger markets that have never won a Stanley Cup, as well as only making one trip to the Final since their founding in 1917. They have been able to pay high salaries over the last few years, which has led some pundits to predict new heights from this perennial playoff team.
Their away or alternate sweater is composed of stripes (one white and two dark red) with slightly thinner stripes running through it for home games. Their Home design has 13 chrome stitches on the chest and what we call their "lucky" number 13 on the arm.
