Mobile Communications Inc. is basically a Japanese multinational corporation specializing in electronic product development and manufacturing from high-end hardware to semiconductors, with cellphones being their highest visible product. Sony introduced the Xperia Range smartphones back on October 2016 - the last phone from the company to do so was announced this year, on August 2019. The need for a reduction of their cellphones line does not just signal some downsizing or collapse, but actually reflects an overall strategic action for business growth.
