Paris will be the host of the 2024 Olympics. For now, Paris is one of three cities in the world that could still host their first games and all three have their advantages.

The advantages that Paris has are its legacy and infrastructure, which it enhanced for Euro 2016 football matches.

Their legacy is about to grow even more if they get to host the coming Olympics since it will be the first public event with potential carbon gains from an international event in France since 1918.
