Grab is a Singaporean multinational technology company that has the mission to provide digital services for mobility in the transportation and logistics sector.

Grab boasts over 400 services made available through more than 6000 mobile application and apps across all three mobile operating systems i.e Android, iOS and Windows Phone. Grab claims that it has been downloaded by 1 billion as of June 2016. Grab was also named in The Economist on an annual list of "the world's fastest-growing companies."

Our Opinion: Grab is a great social media platform and it unbundles the transport side of "shared cars". Its partner Grabcar initiative provides booking options which are more focused on taxis, private cars and another ride option called Book A Pickup service that took effect since 25 December 2016.
