<p>Gigabyte is a Taiwanese computer hardware manufacturing company. They have a lineup of computers, notebooks, tablets and other devices.</p><p>It was founded in 1986 by Frank Huang and Jerry Yang. Since then, the company has sold more than 6 million desktop computers alone. In 2014 the Chief Executive Officer of the Geek Factory is Frank Huang's daughter Yu-Chieh Huang who promotes green computing solutions and big data services on behalf of the firm's clients from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies such as Nestle and Samsung Electronics Corporation.</p><p>With its business model was Gigabyte provided its customer with products that are assembled in China for them as well as providing consumers with wide range of computing solutions through their partners worldwide. IBM / Lenovo bought Greater China distribution rights due to their Global Marketing Agreement with Gigabyte.</p>
