Dairy Queen was an ingredient of American foods in the early 1950s and late 1920s, but after World War II they became a massively beloved brand. Just look at the many ad campaigns that have entertained the public over time.

Paul Felix first opened a Dairy Queen in 1937 in Villisca, Iowa, which is where he served ice cream to 10 children for about $0.10 apiece and filled his car with gas for 50 cents. His recipe-based food chain was brought to Wichita Falls, Texas shortly afterward with its first franchised restaurant created in Moorhead; Minnesota on November 21st 1951, now one of the global leaders of fast food chains.
