About Brembo Brand
Brembo is an Italian company that specializes in the production of car parts, especially brakes. The company has been in business for over 50 years, and it is one of the most important manufacturers of high-performance braking systems.
Brembo was founded by Giovanni Brembo in 1961. The company started as a small workshop that produced brake components for racing cars and motorcycles. It quickly grew into a multinational company after winning a contract to produce brake discs for the Maserati Ghibli model in 1964.
The first international expansion took place in 1973 with the opening of a new production plant in Brazil. In 1977, Brembo opened its first North American facility and began supplying original equipment manufacturers such as General Motors, Chrysler, Ford and Volvo with brakes and suspension systems.
In 1985, Brembo became an independent public company following an IPO on the Milan Stock Exchange (exchange: Borsa Italiana). In 1987 it was listed on the New York
