Binance is a cryptocurrency wallet which trades various coins and provides a range of crypto exchange features. It uses advanced security measures and low fees with an emphasis on speed.

The Binance platform came into being through one of the leading crypto traders busting trade volumes, Changpeng Zhao. Originally planned to be headquartered in China where it could be operated on a completely free market, Zhao changed his mind when the authorities cracked down on cryptocurrencies in late 2017/early 2018. He was forced to move operations to Japan as he did not want to come under the watchful eye of regulators in China. The decision was made easier when China’s regulators imposed new licensing requirements which would have been hugely expensive for Binance at that time.
